Avid Eghbali
Producer/Director
Avid Eghbali, Founder of 3 Lines Studio, is a multi-disciplined filmmaker, specializing in music video production, narrative films, event videography, and photography. He is a resourceful creator and a strong collaborator. With experience throughout the production process, Avid has served as Director, Producer, Unit Production Manager, First Assistant Director, and more, across a wide variety of projects. In his ambition to craft stories that drive influence, Avid uses the power of art to build connections, bring unity, and impact culture. Avid founded 3 Lines Studio and built his Los Angeles black box production house not only to manifest his own artistic visions, but to empower fellow creators to do the same.
Avid was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved with his family to Los Angeles, California, at the age of 6. He first experimented with video in high school, producing the morning announcements and volunteering his production skills to Kids Helping Kids, a non-profit empowering young leaders to serve local youth. In college, Avid remained completely self-taught, experimenting with promotional roles in his position as Senator of the Associated Students California Lutheran University Government (ASCLUG).
Upon graduating from California Lutheran University in 2018 with a Bachelors in Chemistry, he began working as Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) while also working on production jobs. It wasn’t long before Avid’s calling for the arts prompted him to make the difficult decision to quit his dental job and pursue filmmaking full time.
Ever since, he’s continued to explore the art of visual storytelling, open doors for emerging artists, and shake the industry with his production of powerful narratives.
